I don’t feel like writing an email this morning. It’s cold, rainy, and I want to go hit my workout, so you’re getting a listicle.
I call it…
5 Ways to Do What You Don’t Want To Do
Set a timer for 5 minutes and work on the thing until the timer goes “ding”
Find the tiniest possible step you can take, and do only that step
For five minutes each day, sit on the edge of a sturdy chair with your back upright, stare at a point on the floor about 2-3 yards in front of you, and clear your mind.
After a few days or weeks when step 3 gets easy, extend the to 10 minutes.
Get outside for a 15 minute walk.
While that last one doesn’t directly help you get anything done, it will clear your head, open up your right-brain receiver-dish, and bring things back into focus for you.
